Ingredients
  • Ivy gourd( kovakkai) - 200 gm
  • Shallots - 10 nos
  • Red chili powder - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Mustard - 1/2 tsp
  • Roasted Channa Dal( powder) - 1/4 cup
  • Oil - 2 tsp

Instructions
  1. Cut shallots and kovakkai and keep aside
  2. In pan add oil and temper mustard and channa dal and add onions and saute well
  3. Now add kovakkai and red chili powder and turmeric powder and salt mix well , cook for 10 min in medium flame
  4. Grind roasted channa dal and add in kovakkai and stir it well.
  5. Now its ready to serve hot Ivy gourd fry ( kovakkai fry)
