Ingredients

Jeerakam
Tamarind
Small lemon sized

Red chillies
8
nos
Pepper
7
cloves
Garlic
1/4
tsp
Turmeric
1/2
tsp
Ghee
1/2
tsp
Mustard
Salt
As reqd
Instructions
For preparing jeera kuzhambu, soak
tamarind
in
water
.
Water
should be at least 60ml
Fry cumin and pepper in
ghee
.
Powder them.
Heat
oil
in a pan.
Splutter mustard. Add
garlic
and fry again.
Add
tamarind
juice,
salt
and
turmeric powder
.
Add powdered cumin before removing from flame and serve hot.
Jeera kuzhambu is ready.
