Kabuli Channa Masala

Channa masala or Chole masala is a classic Indian Vegetarian dish prepared with Kabuli channa. The north indian bean recipe, kabuli chana imparts a nice tangy twist to the traditional spicy chana dal recipe. The chick peas or kabuli chana is boiled and then simmered in a spicy rich curry of onion, tomatoes and ginger garlic paste. Serve hot with steamed rice.

Instructions
  1. Boil channa 3 to 4 whistles and allow to cool grind little and keep aside
  2. In pan add onion paste and saute till brown color change and then add oil and ghee
  3. Now add green chili and mint and ginger garliuc paste and saute well
  4. Now add tomato puree and saute well
  5. Now add all powders and saute well
  6. Now add boiled channa and mix well and added channa boiled water
  7. Now add crushed channa and bring to boil for 10 mins and turn off
  8. Now its ready to serve Kabhuli Channa masala
