Kadai Prawns is one of the tastiest,spicy North Indian curry which we can make easily.Kadai prawns is flavoured with spices which makes this curry aromatic.It goes well with plain rice,roti or paratha.

Instructions
  1. Dry roast the ingredients from coriander seeds to kasuri methi on low fire and grind it into a coarse powder, keep it aside.
  2. Heat oil,butter in a kadai.add onion,ginger,garlic paste and saute it.
  3. Add turmeric, chilli powder and saute again.Then add tomato pulp and salt , mix it till the raw smell goes.
  4. Add the cleaned prawns ,mix well .Then add the ground masala powder and stir well.
  5. Close and cook on low fire for 10 minutes by adding water (if needed) and salt.Check and stir occassionally.
  6. Kadai Prawns is ready.Serve hot with plain rice, roti or paratha.
Recipe Notes

Kasuri methi - 1tbsp
Oil/butter - 2tbsp each
Salt to taste
