Kakka Irachi Thoran | Clams Stir Fry A very tasty seafood dish 250 g Small Clams (Kakka irachi)1 cup Grated coconut1 tsp Ginger paste1 tsp Garlic paste1 tsp Chilly powder1/4 tsp Turmeric powder1 tsp Coriander powder1/2 tsp Pepper powder1/4 tsp Fennel seeds /powder (Perumjeerakam)2 nos Green chilliesCurry leaves (A few)1/4 tsp Mustard seedsSalt (As reqd)Oil (As reqd) Marinate washed and drained mussels with a mixture of ginger and garlic pastes, chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder and required salt.Heat oil in a pan.Splutter mustard seeds.Add curry leaves, green chillies and marinated mussels to it and fry in low flame for a few minutes. Place a cover and cook the mussels. Once the mussels are done, remove the lid and add grated coconut. Stir for 2 more mins until everything is blended well.:- Serve with rice and moru curry.
