Kala Jamun

This mithai gives you the wondrous feeling of biting into a gulab jamun but in a more handy form! Kala Jamun is made with a perfect mix of hariyali khoya and maida to get super soft jamuns, which are deep-fried and dipped in warm sugar syrup to make a lovely semi-dry sweet. But i use ready mix jamun powder to show how quick kala jaum can prepare in home.

Instructions
  1. In bowl add readymix jamun powder
  2. Now add water for making dough and knead soft dough
  3. Now divide equal portion and add food colour
  4. Now from each make small size ball
  5. Now stuff colour ball inside of plain ball
  6. Now roll and make shape which you like, i made oval and keep aside and do rest of others
  7. Now deep fry the jamun and drain out
  8. Now again deep fry till dark colour comes don't burn and keep aside
  9. In sugar syrup add cardamom powder mix well
  10. Soak jamun with sugar syrup
  11. Now its ready to Kala Jamun
