Easy to make fry with Tapioca (Kappa)

  • Cook tapioca pieces along with salt in a pressure cooker, till it is done.
  • Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
  • Add crushed onions and garlic and sautT for a while.
  • Add turmeric powder followed by chilly powder and fry.
  • Add curry leaves and sautT again.
  • Add salt, if reqd.
  • Add the chopped and cooked tapioca pieces and mix well.
  • Keep it on flame till the whole mixture gets mixed well.

    excellent recipe, can try frying some grated coconut along with onions and garlic(my mom`s way of making it),definitely adds to the taste.

    Turned out really nice — I would add the garlic after the shallots or little onions are almost done since browned garlic can sometimes turn bitter. Found breaking up a few red chillies tasted good too(more kid friendly if your child doesn`t care for spice after too much pizza and pasta as used to here in the US)
