kara elandha vadai is one of my all time favorite snack during childhood. I used to totally love the tangy taste of the ready made vadai that are available.

Instructions
  1. clean and wash the elandha pazham. Cut open all the fruits and check for worms and decay
  2. put the elandha pazham in mixi and allow for 1 minute to grind, and seed to come out
  3. remove the seed from elandha pazham
  4. take all one side the elandha pazham and check out the any seeds are there
  5. in a mixi jar add red chili, tamarind and salt and grind it
  6. now add seed less elandha pazham and grind it through mixi for 2 minutes
  7. transfer into the plate
  8. take small and make a shape as round, keep it in a plate and allow to dry through sunlight for 2 to 3 days
  9. now kara elandha vadai is ready
