  • Onion(small) - 1/4 cup
  • Asafoetida powder(Kaayam) - 1 tbsp

  • Grain rice(long) - 2 cup
  • Moong dal(cheruparippu) - 1/2 cup
  • Toor dal(thuvaraparippu) - 1/2 cup
  • Urad dal(uzunnuparippu) - 1/2 cup
  • Water(for grinding the above items) -

Instructions
  1. Soak the grains and pulses for 4 hours or more.
  2. Wash and grind them together with all the ingredients except oil. :-No need to ferment the batter.
  3. Heat a pan and pour little oil
  4. Pour batter and make it to a round shape with a spatula.
  5. Cook both sides :-Serve with coconut chutney.
