Karuvepillai Thovaiyal
Authentic Tamilnadu Dish made with curry leaves and coriander leaves
Ingredients
- 1 bunch Curry leaves Karuveypila
- 1 bunch Coriander leaves
- 3 nos Green chillies
- 1 tbsp Black gram Uzhunnuparippu
- Tamarind A small ball, Puli
- 1/2 cup Grated coconut
- Asafoetida As reqd, Kayam
- 1 tbsp Mustard
- 1 tbsp Oil
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
- Splutter mustard seeds.
- Add black gram and fry well.
- Add asafoetida followed by green chillies and fry well.
- Add both coriander leaves and curry leaves and fry well.
- Put the fried ingredients into a mixer grinder.
