Instructions
  1. Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
  2. Splutter mustard seeds.
  3. Add black gram and fry well.
  4. Add asafoetida followed by green chillies and fry well.
  5. Add both coriander leaves and curry leaves and fry well.
  6. Add coconut and tamarind and fry, till the water leaves the coconut.
  7. Put the fried ingredients into a mixer grinder.
  8. Add salt and a little water and grind well.
