Authentic Tamilnadu Dish made with
curry leaves
and coriander leaves

Ingredients

Karuveypila

bunch
Coriander leaves
3

Green chillies
1
tbsp
Black gram
Uzhunnuparippu
Tamarind
A small ball, Puli
1/2
cup
Grated
coconut
Asafoetida
As reqd, Kayam
1
tbsp
Mustard
1
tbsp
Oil
Instructions
Heat
oil
in a pan or a kadai.
Splutter
mustard seeds
.
Add
black gram
and fry well.
Add asafoetida followed by
green chillies
and fry well.
Add both coriander leaves and
curry leaves
and fry well.
Add
coconut
and
tamarind
and fry, till the
water
leaves the
coconut
.
Put the fried ingredients into a mixer grinder.
Add
salt
and a little
water
and grind well.
