Tomato
puree

Curd
Butter
As reqd

tbsp
Coriander powder
1
tbsp
Turmeric powder
2
tbsp
Garlic
paste
2
tbsp
Ginger
Paste
4
nos
Green Chillies
chopped
1/2
tbsp
Chicken masala
1
tbsp
Red chilly powder
1/2
tbsp
Cumin seed powder
Jeera Powder
2
tbsp
Lemon juice
Coriander leaves
chopped
Salt
As reqd
Instructions
Mix together curd,
turmeric powder
,
salt
, jeera powder and lemon juice. Coat the paste on the chicken pieces and keep aside for marination(1 1/2 hrs).
Heat
oil
in a pan and fry the marinated chicken till browned.
Keep fried chicken pieces aside.
Heat Butter in a pan.
Saute onions and fry till it turns brown.
Pour
tomato
puree and saute until butter comes out of it and the paste is fully cooked.
Mix together
coriander powder
,
garlic
,
ginger
,
turmeric
, red chilly powder, chicken masala,
green chillies
and required
salt
. Add this to the
tomato
puree mixture and fry well.
Add fried chicken pieces and add little
water
.
Put some coriander leaves and cover the pan for about 10 minutes on a slow heat.
Serve with rice or roti.
