Kerala Brinjal Prawns Curry

Brinjal
sliced

Cinnamon
Karugapatta

Cloves
Grambu

Cardamom
crushed

Onion
chopped
1
tbsp
Vinegar
1

Tomato
chopped
1/2
cup
Prawns
cooked with
salt
and
turmeric
1 1/2
cup
Coconut
milk
Salt
As reqd
For masala:
1
no
Onion
4
cloves
Garlic
1
piece
Ginger
1
tsp
Cumin Seeds
Jeerakam
1
tsp
Turmeric powder
Instructions
For preparing kerala
brinjal
prawns
curry, soak
brinjal
in
salt
water
. Drain
brinjal
after some time and fry it in
oil
.
Grind the ingredients for preparing masala.
Saute cinnamon,
cloves
and
cardamom
in
oil
.
Add oniion, ground masala and
tomato
. Fry well.
Add
prawns
, vinegar and fry again.
When
oil
clears, add the fried
brinjal
and
curry leaves
.
Cook in low flame for 5 minutes.
Kerala
brinjal
prwans curry is ready.
