  • Mutton(cut into medium sized pieces) - 1/2 kg
  • Green chillies - 2 -
  • Ginger(chopped) - 1 small
  • Small onions(Kunjulli) - 8 -
  • Pepper(Few, crushed) -
  • Coconut - 1/2 of
  • Onion(sliced) - 2 nos
  • Cloves(Grambu) - 1 no
  • Cinnamon(Karugapatta) - 1 no
  • Baby potatoes - 7 -
  • Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
  1. Fry sliced onions, till slightly brown.
  2. Add slit green chillies, ginger, crushed pepper, cloves and cinnamon.
  3. Add mutton and salt and fry for 5 mins.
  4. Add potatoes.
  5. Extract 1 cup of thick coconut milk. Keep it aside.
  6. Extract thin milk, the quantity depending upon the quantity of the curry you need.
  7. :- Do not make it too watery.
  8. Add the 2nd or thin coconut milk and cook upto 3 whistles or till mutton is done.
  9. After opening the lid, add whole small onions and boil for another 5 mins.
  10. Add the 1st or thick coconut milk.
  11. Cover with its lid and switch off the flame.
  12. Garnish with coriander leaves, if desired.
