Instructions
  1. Fry the lentils slightly in a pan.
  2. Boil 3 cups of water.
  3. Add the washed lentils and turmeric powder.
  4. When it boils, lower the flame.
  5. When the lentil is cooked well, add salt and ghee.
  6. Mix well and remove from fire.

The instructions are a bit confusing… The preparation part says: “Lightly fry the lentils in a pan”… then they say “Boil .. water and add the washed lentils..”
Do we have to have two sets of lentils?
Sorry – but my first few attempts at cooking… would appreciate if things are a bit clearer.
