Instructions
  1. For prepared the South Indian sweet dish, first heat ghee and lightly brown semolina. This will prevent semolina from sticking together.
  2. Pour 2 cups of boiling water.
  3. Stir constantly over medium flame.
  4. When it thickens, add sugar and stir again.
  5. Add colour mixed with milk, cashew and raisins.
  6. Sprinkle cardamom powder and keep stirring.
  7. When the sugar has melted and the kesari is semi solid, remove from fire.
  8. :- This will harden after cooling. Enjoy the nutritious sweet dish. This sweet dish is a complete dessert, very filling to your tummy.
