Kerala Simple Chicken Stew Chicken stew in Cow`s milk 1/2 kg Chicken1 no Potato (cut into small pieces)3 nos Onions (finely chopped)3 nos Green chillies (cut slit open length-wise)1 tbsp Garlic (cut into thin pieces)1 tbsp Ginger (cut into thin pieces)1 1/2 cups Milk full fat1 tsp Allpurpose flour (Maida)4 small Cinnamon (crushed, Karugapatta)4 nos Cloves (Grambu)4 nos Cardamom (crushed, Elakka)3 stems Curry leaves4 tsp Oil1 tbsp VinegarSalt (As reqd) Cook cut pieces of chicken with vinegar, potatoes, salt and a little water in a pressure cooker, upto 1 whistle. Heat oil in a pan.SautT onions, green chillies, garlic and ginger in this order. Add crushed cinnamon sticks, cloves and cardamom and sautT, till onions turn brown. SautT, till the fresh smell of masala leaves.Add the above mixture to the cooked chicken.Cover and bring everything to a boil.Dissolve the maida in milk and add this to the cooked chicken. Add curry leaves.Allow the contents to boil and stir it often. Turn off the flame immediately after it boils. Check for the salt. :- Serve hot with appams. Kerala

We tried it. Its very tasty and light. Happy stomach ….We have also added fried raisins and cashew nuts at top. That made an additional flavor. We had this with chappatis. Thank you very much .. Shalet..
