  • Cut the chillies lengthwise and deseed them.
  • Soak them in salt water for half an hour.
  • Remove the chillies from water and place them on a tissue paper.
  • Mix together gram dal and water and make it into a thick gravy.
  • Add baking soda and salt.
  • Stuff the chillies with finely chopped onions.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Dip the stuffed chillies in the gravy.
  • Put them into the hot oil and fry them like aloo bajjis.
