  • Onions(medium) - 2 nos
  • Eastern chicken masala - 1 tsp
  • Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Tomato ketchup or sauce - 1 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
  1. Boil eggs and make slits using a knife and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
  3. Splutter mustard seeds.
  4. Add onions and saute, till they become tender.
  5. Add masala, chilly powder, tomato ketchup and salt.
  6. Add little water and mix well.
  7. Cook for 5 mins or until gravy becomes thick.
  8. Add eggs and mix well.
  9. :- Serve with appam, chappathis, idiappams etc.

i have not tried this recipe yet but i am planning to do so tomorrow as it looks yummy. i have one doubt- CAN I ADD ANY OTHER BRAND CHICKEN MASALA INSTEAD OF EASTERN CHICKEN MASALA?? PLS REPLY.

I added a bit ginger and garlic .. it tasted gr8 .. and mixing small amount of corn starch in warm water will give thicker gravy …

i used to make egg masala with all spices and it took time.but this recipe is better than that and very easy also.

this was good. I added extra mustard seeds though . it was all mustard seedy.but I could taste it in between all the extra mustards. it was great !!!
