300 gm Canned tuna1 no Carrot (grated, medium size)1 cup Coconut (grated)Salt (as reqd)5 pods Garlic1 small Ginger1/2 tsp Cumin seeds8-10 nos Curry leaves3 nos Green Chilli2 tsp Pepper powder2-3 pieces Kudampuli1 cup Onion (sliced)2 nos Tomato (chopped)1/4 tsp Kaduku (mustard seeds)1/4 tsp Jeerakam (cumin seeds)1/4 tsp Uluva (fenugreek seeds)3 nos Unakka mulaku (red chilli)3-4 leaves Curry leaves1 tsp Garlic (chopped)1 tsp Ginger (chopped)Salt (as reqd)4 tbsp Oil Grind Grated coconut, Garlic, Ginger, Cumin seeds, Curry leaves and Green chilli together and add little salt.Mix tuna, carrot, 1/2 cup Onion, pepper powder, kudampuli, and 1 tbsp oil together and keep aside.Heat oil in a pan and add ingredients mustard seeds, cumin seeds, fenugreek and curry leaves one by one.Add remaining onion and saute till it slightly changes the colour.Add chopped ginger, garlic and saute for some time.Add chopped tomatoes and cook it well.Add the prepared mixture of tuna, carrot and grinded coconut into it.Cook for about 10 to 15 minutes.:- Your tune thoran is now ready to serve!!!
