  • Heat tawa and add sooji and fry till the color changes to light brown. Keep it aside
  • Heat tawa and bring the water to boil.
  • When the water starts to bubble add sooji
  • The sooji should be cooked well. Once done add sugar and pinch of salt.
  • Sugar when heated dissolves and leaves this mixture in liquid consistency.
  • Keep stirring until it becomes semi solid and add ghee. (for ghee lovers feel free to add as much as needed according to the taste)
  • After the ghee melts and blends , Add fried nuts and raisins and fry a minute for the nuts to get mixed.
  • Garnish with nuts and serve hot.

Notes

Color powders are available and can be used to give attractiveness to the eyes as well.
