Kesaribath Quick dessert made in Karnataka when guests are sitting in the living room. 1 cup Semolina (Rava/Sooji)1 1/2 cups Sugar1 tbsp Raisins (Onakkamunthiri)1 tbsp Cashewnuts1/2 tsp Cardamom powder (Elakka)3 tbsp Ghee3 cups Hot waterKesari or Yellow food colour (A pinch) Take a medium size non stick pan.Heat 1 tbsp of ghee in it.Add cashewnuts & raisins & fry for 1 min. Add the rava and fry again for 1 min.Reduce the flame completely & then add hot water, elaichi powder & food colour and keep stirring for 3-4 mins on medium flame. When the rava gets almost cooked, add sugar and stir again. :- Make sure that lumps are are not formed.Add the remaining ghee and stir again. Cover the pan and cook on reduced flame for 3 - 4 mins. :- Serve hot. Karnataka
This is a awesome recepie. Especially for bachelors i would suggest this.
But remember to add less ghee in it because we are bachelors. Have to get married right 🙂
