  • Cabbage(very finely chopped) - 8 cups
  • Carrot(shredded)(medium) - 1/4 cup
  • Granulated sugar - 1/3 cup
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp
  • Pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • Milk - 1/4 cup
  • Mayonnaise - 1/2 cup
  • Buttermilk - 1/4 cup
  • White vinegar - 1 1/2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice - 2 1/2 tbsp

Instructions
  1. Chop cabbage and carrot into very fine pieces about the size of rice kernels.
  2. Combine sugar, salt, pepper, milk, mayonnaise, buttermilk, vinegar and lemon juice and beat until smooth.
  3. Add the chopped cabbage and carrot and mix well.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for atleast 2 hours before serving.

tried this. Tasted Exactly like the original KFC coleslaw… was a hit and folks insisted me on making it several times…!!!!Thanksssss a tonne!!!!!!

My husband likes coleslaw alot! we have it from Pizza hut n KFC.I never thot of making it tho…but saw yr recipe…sounded interesting…thanks alot for posting this recipe…post more of them!
