Gulab jamun is a soft and spongy sweet which is drenched in sugar syrup is a most popular traditional sweet made in festive seasons. This is the first and foremost method of preparing jamuns with unsweetened khoa. The khoa has to be rubbed and mixed with maida to make soft balls. These balls are fried in oil and soaked in sugar syrup. It is served with nuts on top of it .
