  • Rice - 1 cup
  • Toor dal - 1/2 cup
  • Shallots - 10
  • garlic - 6
  • Curry leaves(small) -
  • Tomato - 1
  • Dry chili - 3
  • Coconut - 5 slice
  • Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt(as per taste) -
  • Mustard , jeera, fenugreek - 1 tsp
  • Gingeely oil - 2 tblsp

Instructions
  1. Soak both rice and dal for 15 mins and keep aside
  2. In pressure pan add oil and temper Mustard , jeera, fenugreek
  3. Add shallots, garlic, curry leaves, dry chili and saute well
  4. Now add tomato and salt and turmeric cook soft
  5. Add rice and dal and add water 1: 3 and stir it
  6. Add coconut and mix it well and close lid and pressure it.
  7. After 3 whistles open mix well and serve
  8. Now its ready kongu Arisiyum Paruppum
