  • Whole milk - 3 litres
  • Sugar - 3 cups
  • Clarified butter/ghee - 250 ml
  • Cashew nuts(broken) - 1/2 cup
  • Almonds(cut into shreds) - 1/2 cup

Instructions
  1. Take the milk into a wide mouthed thick vessel and boil, stirring continuously, until it gets reduced to about one fourth of the original volume.
  2. Add sugar and continue boiling and stirring.
  3. Fry the dry fruit pieces in ghee and keep aside.
  4. As the preparation begins to solidify, add the ghee and go on mixing.
  5. Cook until the ghee shows up. Add the dry fruit pieces, mix thoroughly and transfer the pudding into a wide plate.
  6. Allow to cool before serving.
