Instructions
  1. Clean, wash and cut the Kovakkai into small pieces
  2. Heat Oil in a frying pan and add the chopped Onion into the Oil
  3. Then add the Turmeric Powder, Red Chilli Powder and Salt into the chopped Onion
  4. Stir the mix for some time
  5. Then add the Kovaikkai pieces into this mix and stir it for 2 – 3 minutes (not necessary to add water)
  6. Cover the frying pan with a lid/plate and cook the mix in low flame
  7. When the Kovakkai pieces are cooked well, stir it and then put off the stove and change the Poriyal to a serving vessel.
  8. Kovakkai Poriyal is ready and it can served as a side dish for cooked rice, Chappathi/Poori etc.
