Kuthiraivali(Bran Yard Millet) Panniyaram

Kuthiraivali Paniyaram is a very healthy and tasty south indian dish ,commonly done in villages .this millet is good in improving iron content in our body. This is a tasty and healthy paniyaram prepared with kuthiravali (Barnyard Millet). This dish tastes good with all kinds of chutney.

  • grated carrots 1 cup -
  • curry leafs few -
  • mustard seeds 1 sp, -
  • channa dal 1 sp -
  • urad dal 1 sp -
  • Salt to taste -
  • oil to cook -

Instructions
  1. soak the millets and urad dal over night
  2. grind it to a batter
  3. allow it to ferment for 5 hours
  4. in a pan saute mustard ,channa dal, urad dal and onions
  5. to it add curry leaves, grated carrots and salt
  6. add this mixture to the batter
  7. cook it in panniyaram maker cook both the sides until crisp
