  • Besan(Gram flour) - 1 cup
  • Semolina(Rava) - 3 tbsp
  • Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
  • Sugar powder(As per taste) - 3/4 cup
  • Yellow Color(optional) - 2 pinch
  • Cashew nuts(chopped) - 2 tbsp
  • Raisins(chopped, Unakka munthiri) - 2 tbsp
  • Ghee - 1/2 cup

Instructions
  1. Heat ghee in a heavy pan. Roast the cashew nuts & raisins. Keep it aside.
  2. Add besan & rava in the same pan and saute well. Fry it for 7-10 minutes in low flame. Saute till the raw smell goes. Switch off the flame.
  3. After 3 minutes add sugar powder & cardamom powder. Mix it well. Add roasted cashew & raisin. Mix with hand & make small balls using palm.
  4. Garnish with cashew nuts & raisins. Ladoo/laddu is ready to serve.
  5. Notes: Don`t add sugar to too hot besan. Don`t use too much ghee.
