Lady`s Finger Kichadi Lady`s finger(Vendakka) kichadi - Lady`s Finger Kichadi 10 - Lady`s finger (Vendakka)1/4 of Coconut (grated)1 cup CurdGreen chillies (As reqd)2 nos Red chillies (broken into two pieces, Kollamulaku)Mustard seeds (As reqd)Curry leaves (A few)Salt (As reqd) Cut lady`s finger into medium size pieces.Fry it along with green chillies in oil, till it becomes brown.Grind together coconut, green chillies, mustard and a little water.Mix together the ground mixture, curd and salt.Heat the above mix on a low flame for 1/2 minute.Add the fried lady`s finger into the heated mix.Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.Add mustard seeds and when they crackle, add red chillies and curry leaves and saute for a while.Pour this seasoning into the above curry. Really good one!!! U can also make it with bitter guard instead of ladies finger, that too comes out really well. It is called Pavakya kichadi.
