Lamb Curry Lamb Curry 1 no Onion (peeled and chopped)1 tbsp Ground coriander2 nos Garlic pods (crushed)2 tsp Ginger (grated)11/2 tsp Turmeric powder1 tsp Salt1/2 tsp Ground cumin seeds (Jeerakam)1/2 tsp Ground black pepper1 lb Lamb (cut into 1-inch cubes)1/4 cup Veg oil1 tsp Chilly powder4 nos Tomatoes (large, diced)1 tbsp Grated coconut1 small Green peas1 no Green capsicum Mix onion, coriander, garlic, ginger, turmeric, salt, cumin and pepper in a small bowl. Coat lamb with the above mixture and marinate, covered, overnight in a medium bowl. In a large, heavy-bottomed pot, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add lamb, onions and spices and stir until well browned. Add tomatoes (undrained) and coconut and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer lamb curry for 15 minutes or until sauce is thickened. Stir in peas, capsicum and cook lamb curry until thoroughly heated. :- Lamb Curry is ready.:- Serve Lamb Curry warm. Kerala
