Instructions
  1. For making the koftas:- 1)Mix together minced meat, onion, garlic, ginger, chillies, coriander, salt and garam masala.
  2. Shape into walnut size balls.
  3. :- It will be easier if u use wet hands to shape them.
  4. Dip balls in the beaten egg.
  5. Fry in hot oil, till they turn golden brown.
  6. Drain on an absorbent paper.
  7. For making the gravy:- 6)Heat ghee in a large heavy pan or wok.
  8. Fry onions, garlic and ginger slowly, until onions turn soft and golden.
  9. Add tumeric powder, garam masala and chilly powder and stir fry for 1 min.
  10. Add tomatoes, chilly powder, salt and lemon juice and stir well.
  11. Add stock and mix well.
  12. Add koftas and mix well.
  13. Cover and simmer for 20 - 25 mins, until the gravy is thick.
  14. Add chopped coriander leaves 5 mins before switching off the flame.
  15. :- Serve with rice or naan.

I LIKED THE RECIPE,BUT WILL THE MUTTON BALLS STAY IN SHAPE WHEN YOU MIX THE GRAVY?

the mutton balls hold together realy well if you follow this recipe.
Adjust the amount of chilli to suit your personal taste. the amounts in given in the recipe makes the dish medium hot.add more if you like it hotter.
