Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Wheat gram Dalia
  • 1 1/2 cups Sugar
  • 1 cup Ghee
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder Elakka
  • 1 tbsp Almonds & Pistachios(Pista)(chopped) Badam

Instructions
 

  • Heat ghee in a pan.
  • Add wheat gram and roast them till they become golden in colour.
  • Melt sugar in 1 cup of water and keep aside.
  • Boil and add the remaining water to the roasted wheat gram.
  • Stir gently and cook till the grain of the gram turns soft on pressing.
  • Cook till ghee separates along the sides.
  • Garnish with chopped almonds, pistas and a pinch of cardamom powder.

    how 2 use the sugar syrup kept aside?
