1/2 cup Broken wheat1 tbsp Coconut (grated)1 cup Sugar1/2 tsp Aniseed (Saumph)1/4 tsp Cardamom (powdered, Elakka)1/4 cup Ghee1 tbsp Almonds (silvered) For preparing lapsi, melt ghee in a pan and fry the broken wheat till golden brown.Add 1 cup of boiling water and cook over low flame till the mixture thickens.Stir in aniseed, cardamom powder, coconut and sugar. Cook till thick.Garnish with almonds.Lapsi is ready. North Indian
