  • Toor dal and moong dal - 1/2 cup
  • Jeera - 1 tsp
  • Pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • Red chili - 1
  • Green chili - 1
  • Curry leaves - 1 string
  • Hing - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt(as per taste) -
  • Oil and ghee - 4 tblsp

Instructions
  1. in pan cook dal and and keep aside
  2. Now add cooked rice and mix well
  3. Now add salt and water cook 2 whistles
  4. In pan add ghee and oil and temper all other items
  5. Now pour into the pongal and mix well
  6. Now serve with sambhar leftover rice pongal is ready
