  • Ginger(crushed) - 150 g
  • Sugar - 1.5 kg
  • Water - 3 cups
  • Lime essence - 1/2 tsp
  • Preservative(optional) - 1/2 tsp

Instructions
  1. Clean the lemon nicely and squeeze the juice. Keep this aside.
  2. Take 3 cups water and add the crushed ginger to it. Boil for 5 minutes.
  3. Add sugar and boil again until the sugar melts completely.
  4. When the sugar syrup has become a bit sticky, turn off the burner. Cool the sugar syrup.
  5. Now add the lemon juice and stir uniformly. Add lime essence.
  6. Strain the lime ginger squash into a clean vessel and pour into a dry bottle.
  7. Tips:- 1)While adding the preservative, liquidize it in a little hot water before adding to the squash.
  8. It is preferable not to add preservatives. By storing in a refrigerator, you can serve the purpose of lasting.
