In India there are many types of biriyani present. in that lucknowi is very famous and its similar to mughal biriyani and its enhance more flavor with fresh cream and milk with saffron. its more tasty with juicy of chicken .

  • Chicken - 1/2 kg
  • Basmathi rice - 1/2 kg
  • Fried onion - 100 gm
  • Curd - 200 gm
  • Ginger garlic paste - 4 tsp
  • Red chili powder - 1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  • Biriyani masala - 1 tsp
  • Salt(as per taste) -
  • Lemon - 1
  • Coriander leaves and mint - 1 full
  • Bay leaf - 1
  • Star anise - 1
  • Cloves - 3
  • Cardamom - 2
  • Cinnamon - 2
  • Ghee - 2 tbsp
  • Oil - 1/4 cup
  • Fresh cream - 1/4 cup
  • Milk - 1/2 cup
  • Saffron - 10 string

Instructions
  1. wash chicken and add in bowl and add ginger garlic paste , fried onion and all spice powder
  2. Now add salt and lemon juice and curd mix well and marinate for 2 hours
  3. In heavy bottom pan add more water and bring to boil in that add mint and coriander leaves , whole spices and salt and 1 tsp oil
  4. Now add rice and cook half and strain out
  5. Now In heavy button pan add oil and ghee add marinate chicken
  6. Now add rice and sprinkle fried onion mint, and coriander
  7. Now in sauce pan add milk and fresh cream and add saffron and mix well
  8. Now pour in biriyani and close lid and keep on hot tawa and make sure that flame should me low and cook for 20 minutes
  9. Now its ready to open lid and mix gently
  10. Its ready to serve with curries or raita Lucknowi Chicken biriyani is ready
