Mackerel (Ayala) Fish Curry

Cleaned Mackerel pieces are cooked in an earthen pot along with ginger, garlic, tamarind water and other ingredients. Instructions
  1. In an earthen pot, place the cut and clean mackerals.
  2. Add to it the cut onions, ginger, garlic, green chillies, curry leaves, coriander leaves, red chillie powder, turmeric and salt.
  3. Pour the tamrind water and mix well.
  4. Cook for 5 minutes.
  5. :- Do not mix the fish or else it will break.
  6. Pour the coconut milk.
  7. Add 1 tsp of coconut oil or vegetable oil for flavour.
  8. :- Enjoy with steamed rice.
