Green chilly

Curry leaves

Mustard seeds

tsp
Cumin seeds
Jeerakam
1
tsp
Black gram
Uzhunnuparippu
Asafoetida
A pinch, Kayam
Turmeric powder
A pinch
Salt
As reqd

Oil
Instructions
Whisk yogurt with a glass of
water
.
Add
salt
in it.
Heat
oil
in a saucepan.
Splutter the
cumin seeds
,
mustard seeds
and
black gram
.
Add the chopped shallots with chilly and
curry leaves
.
Add pinch of
turmeric
and asafoetida and stir.
Take it off the stove and put this into the yoghurt.
:- Serve with steamed rice.
