Instructions
  1. For preparing Malabar Thenga Choru, first wash the rice well and drain it.
  2. Heat water in a vessel along with grated coconut, chopped shallots, cumin seeds and fenugreek seeds.
  3. When it starts to boil, add rice and salt as required.
  4. Stir occasionally and cook it for 40-45 minutes.
  5. Add curry leaves and put the flame in simmer mode to dry if it is wet.
  6. Serve Malabar Thenga Choru hot with beef curry.
