Ingredients
- 1 Raw mango medium
- 1 cup Red gram Thuvaraparippu
- 2 tsp Oil
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
- Asafoetida A pinch, Kayam
- 1 tsp Split Black gram Uzhunnuparippu
- 3 nos Red chillies(broken) Kollamulaku
- Turmeric powder A pinch
- Salt As reqd
- Curry leaves A few
Instructions
- Wash dal and cook it.
- Cut the raw mango into small cubes and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan and put a pinch of asafoetida, cumin seeds, blackgram dal and broken red chillies. Fry them until the dal turns into light brown.
- When the mango cubes become tender, add cooked dal to it and mix well.
- Add curry leaves.
- :-Serve with ghee rice and pickled green chillies.
