Ingredients: 1/2 kg Chicken; 2 nos Onion (sliced); 2 tbsp Ginger (chopped); 3 nos Garlic pods (chopped); 6 nos Green chillies (finely chopped); 3 sprigs Curry leaves; 2 nos Potato (cut into cubes); 1 no Tomato (sliced); 1 tsp Turmeric powder; 1 tsp Pepper powder; 2 nos Cardamom (Elakka); 3 nos Cloves (Grambu); 1/2" stick Cinnamon (Karuvapatta); 1/2 cup Grated coconut; 1 cup Coconut milk; Oil (As required); Salt (As required)

Ingredients

1/2 kg Chicken
2 nos Onion sliced
2 tbsp Ginger chopped
3 nos Garlic pods chopped
6 nos Green chillies finely chopped
3 sprigs Curry leaves
2 nos Potato cut into cubes
1 no Tomato sliced
1 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Pepper powder
2 nos Cardamom Elakka
3 nos Cloves Grambu
1/2" stick Cinnamon Karuvapatta
1/2 cup Grated coconut
1 cup Coconut milk
Oil As required
Salt As required

Instructions

Heat oil in a pan.
Add onion and sautT.
Add ginger, garlic, green chilli, tomato and curry leaves and stir for a minute.
Add cardamoms, cloves, cinnamon and grated coconut and stir for a minute.
Add pepper powder and salt, mix well and then add turmeric powder and mix.
Add chicken and potato. Mix well.
Add coconut milk and some water(if needed, just to cover chicken and potato) and cook it on very low flame for half an hour or till done.
:- Serve hot with plain rice.
