For preparing Marati fish/machhli curry in microwave, first grind the following ingredients to a fine paste: green chillies, ginger-garlic paste, chilly powder, turmeric, tamarind paste and required salt.
Marinate the fish pieces in this mixture for 30 minutes.
Pour oil into a microwave safe dish, arrange the marinated fish pieces and cook covered for 3 minutes in high mode.
Now turn the fish over and pour coconutmilk. Cook covered on medium high of 70 for 14 minutes.
