Marble Cake
Moist marble cake
Ingredients
- 125 g All purpose flour Maida
- 125 g Castor Sugar
- 150 g Butter melted
- 2 nos Eggs
- 2 tbsp Cocoa powder
- 1 tsp Vanilla essence
- 2 tsp Baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 160c. Grease a medium sized loaf pan.
- Break the eggs into a bowl. Beat with a whisk.
- Add sugar and mix well.
- Add the flour little by little along with baking powder. Mix again till the flour is well blended with the batter.
- Pour melted butter and mix to combine well. Finally, add the vanilla essence.
- Divide the batter into 2 bowls. Mix cocoa into one batter and mix well.
- Take the greased pan and pour the white batter and chocolate batter alternately. Use a spatula and move across the length in a wave motion.
- Bake in the oven till well risen.(about 20mins). Enjoy!!
