Instructions
  1. Take a bowl add rice flour,salt. add semi hot water little by little and knead into a soft dough.
  2. Make medium size balls out of the dough and steam cook it for 20 minutes.
  3. Cut each the cooked rice balls into 4 pieces.
  4. Take a mixer grinder and add grated coconut,garlic and shallots.
  5. Add red chilly powder and salt as required
  6. Blend it to make a semi fine paste without adding water.
  7. Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seed,then add chopped shallots and curry leaves.saute for few seconds.
  8. Add steamed and sliced balls into it.combine well
  9. Add coconut mix
  10. Give a quick toss mix well and switch off the flame.
  11. Serve hot/warm.
