  • For preparing the delicious dish, finely chop the tender leaves of fresh pumpkin after cleaning them well with water.
  • Mix together the chopped leaves, grated coconut, green chillies, salt and chopped small onions.
  • Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
  • Splutter mustard seeds and saute dry red chillies and curry leaves.
  • Add the pumpkin leaves-coconut mixture and mix well.
  • Cover and cook on a low flame.
  • When done, remove the lid and mix well.
  • Continue to cook, till done.
  • :- You can also add garlic, if desired.
  • The tasty thoran, a delicious stir fry is ready.
