Instructions
  1. take a small piece of pumpkin
  2. cut it to pieces
  3. soak dal in little water for 5 minutes
  4. mix the pumpkin and daal in a pan
  5. Add little water ,green chilly ,tomato to it
  6. Add turmeric powder and let it cook well(I used pressure cooker and waited for 2 whistles)
  7. meanwhile take a mixer and add the ginger ,garlic ,2 green chillies ,cumin seeds
  8. pour little water
  9. grind it well and then add few curry leaves and grind it.
  10. when our pumpkin is cooked
  11. add the grinded mixture
  12. mix it well
  13. meanwhile heat a pan and add oil to it. when its hot, add mustard
  14. when it splutters add dried red chilly
  15. add shallot and curry leaves. saute it well and off the flame
  16. when the coconut and the pumpkin gets cooked well .
  17. add the mustard mixture .stir well
  18. our dish is ready
  19. serve hot along with rice or chappathi.
