Mathi ( Sardines )Curry With Chembu ( Colocasia)

Instructions
  1. Grind the grated coconut with 2 shallots, garlic, ginger, turmeric, chilli powder to a thin paste.
  2. Add this ground mixture into a mud pot (chatti ). Add green chillies, chembu, pacha manga and allows it to boil .
  3. When it starts to boil, add the fishes, cover and cook it in a low flame for 7 - 10 minutes.( check occasionally )
  4. Heat coconut oil in a pan, splutter fenugreek seeds, fry the shallots, curry leaves and add this into the fish curry.
  5. Mathi curry is ready to serve. It goes well with boiled rice. Enjoi.
