Mattar Paneer Curry

green peas
and paneer

Tomato
Ginger
A small piece

Garlic
pods

tsp
Red
chilli powder
1/4
tsp
Turmeric
powde
1
tsp
Coriander powder
1
tsp
Cumin seeds
5
nos
Cloves
2
nos
Cardamom
2
small
Cinnamon
1
tbsp
Oil
Salt
As reqd
1/4
tsp
Garam masala
powder
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Instructions
Cook the
green peas
in a cooker.
Fry the paneer cubes in a tawa.
Heat 2 tsp of
oil
in a kadai., Splutter the whole garam masalas like cinnamon, clove and
cardamom
.
Add in the chopped onions and saute till it starts turning golden brown.
Add
tomato
and saute till it becomes soft.
Add
chilli powder
,
turmeric powder
,
coriander powder
,
garlic
and
ginger
and saute for a few minutes.
Switch off the flame and let it cool. Grind into a smooth paste adding little
water
.
Heat a little
oil
in a pan.
Saute the above paste for 3 minutes.
Dry roast the cumin in a small pan and grind it to a powder.
Add boiled
green peas
, fried paneer cubes,
cumin powder
and
garam masala
powder (optional). Mix well.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
