  • King Fish(Or Hamour fillet sliced into 1 inch wide slices) - 4 thin
  • Small onions(finely chopped, Kunjulli) - 6 nos
  • Garlic pods(finely chopped) - 4 nos
  • Green chillies(cut diagonally into 4 pieces) - 4 nos
  • Mustard seeds(A pinch) -
  • olive oil - 2 tbsp
  • Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Tomato puree(if not available, use juice of 2 small red tomatoes) - 2 tbsp
  • Red chilly(Kollamulaku) - 1 no
  • Salt - 1 1/2 tsp
  • Curry leaves - 5 nos

Instructions
  1. Marinate the sliced and cleaned fish with turmeric, red chilly powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt for 10 mins.
  2. Take a microwave glass dish with lid and put olive oil, small onions, garlic, mustard seeds, curry leaves, red chilly and green chillies.
  3. Keep in the oven (Low) for 1 minute.
  4. Add fish and tomato puree and keep further for 5 mins.

A very good recipe. Since I had never cooked fish in the microwave, the easiness of it with no sacrifice to taste really surprised me. Coconut oil might be a good substitute for olive oil for the naadan taste.thanks.
