  • Chicken Keema - 250 g
  • Bread slices(soaked and pressed out) - 2 nos
  • Green chillies(chopped) - 2 nos
  • Ginger Paste - 1/2 tbsp
  • Garlic paste - 1/2 tbsp
  • Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander leaves(chopped) - 2 tbsp
  • Egg(beaten) - 1 no
  • Salt(As reqd) -
For preparing tomato gravy:
  • Tomatoes(small) - 3 nos
  • Cream/Malai - 1/2 cup
  • Ginger - 1 inch
  • Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin seed powder(Jeerakam) - 1/2 tsp
  • Orange red color(optional) -
  • Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
  1. For preparing microwave chicken/murgh koftas, first grind together ingredients: tomatoes, ginger, red chilly powder and cumin seed powder to a smooth mixture.
  2. Cook in micro high mode for 10 minutes. Add cream, required salt and a pinch of color(optional).
  3. Tomato gravy is ready. Keep this aside.
  4. For preparing chicken kofta, mix together all the ingredients: chicken keema, crushed bread, chopped green chillies, ginger paste, garlic paste, garam masala, beaten egg and required salt.
  5. Mix gently and shape into balls.
  6. 6)Arrange these balls on a micro friendly tray keeping some distance between each ball.
  7. Micro in high mode for 5 minutes.
  8. Transfer these koftas to the above prepared tomato gravy.
  9. Micro in high mode again for 4 minutes.
  10. Allow chicken koftas to remain in microwave for a few more minutes.
  11. Remove microwave chicken/murgh koftas from oven and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot and enjoy with chappatis, naan etc.
